Now days in politics, it is very hard to tell who the candidates for the people are, and who is out there seeking their own personal profit or gain. After all, every time there is an election, candidates come out making promises that they do not keep, as for instance the promises made by president George Bush Sr. (“read my lips, No More Taxes”).
This lack of ‘keeping their promises’ from the part of elected political figures has caused a great deal of voter apathy, to the point that most people resort to voting for the best among the worse, or to choosing the lesser of evils during election day. But this year things are looking up for us voters since the Democrats have a candidate in Hillary Clinton that truly cares about ‘we the people”.
Why do I say this and how could I be so confident that this is so? Because of the fruit of Hillary Clinton’s actions during these primary elections has shown me her desire to govern the people for the people. You see, it turns out that the Democratic National Committee had punished the state of Florida delegates for moving the primary elections ahead of February 5, by stripping the Florida convention of its delegates. Since Barack is only interested on getting elected at all cost (making race an issue), he chose to completely ignore Florida voters and did not even come to visit during the primary there.
Hillary Clinton on the other hand came to Florida even though there were no delegates to win in the Sunshine State. Why did she do that? Hillary Clinton did it simply because she cares deeply about the people of this country, and because when “we the people” speak, Hillary Clinton listens. She is going to make an excellent president because she is in touch with the needs of the common folk out there. She is not just out to be elected for her own personal gain, but rather she seeks to further the gain of all of the people in this great country of ours.
Not only is her experience in Washington a testament of her ability to lead this country to the next level, but her attitude and behavior in her own personal life has proven that she is a true Christian. When attacked by the Barack camp, she has done everything she can to maintain a conciliatory and peaceful campaign, and she ‘walks the talk’ when it comes to living out Christ’s teachings on forgiveness (she forgave Bill Clinton), perseverance, hope and faith.
Hillary Clinton is the best thing that has happened to this country in years, and she will make an excellent president. As a Christian, her leadership will come by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and as many of you out there know, this country needs God desperately.
Vote for Hillary Clinton for President of the United States of America. Make your vote truly count for a change!
